The snow blanket in the mountain around Gabrovo is about 50cm, Shipka pass is constantly being cleared and sand is being dispersed.

During the night and in the morning thare has been a solid snowfall. The temperature at Shipka is -9 degrees, the weather is cloudy, with good visibility.

The only limit is the interdiction of heavy transport vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers, which will remain in force untill 31st March.
The temperatures in Gabrovska oblast are below the freezing point and in Gabrovo and Tryavna it is still snowing.
