The concert of Foreigner in Sofia, which was supposed to take place on July 12th in Sofia, was cancelled. The following message was issued on the MySpace page of the band:

“Following the wonderful experience FOREIGNER and the fans in Bulgaria enjoyed when the band visited Bulgaria for the first time in 2007 – the band was very much looking forward to revisiting Bulgaria on their current European tour.

The inability of the promoter who was involved with the organisation of the show for July 12th in Sofia – to guarantee the band the environment that would enable them to present the fans with the best possible concert experience – has led to the decision to cancel the show scheduled for July 12th 2009.

FOREIGNER are working on a new album – and we are looking forward to visiting Bulgaria some time in 2010!”
