606 candidates for a place in the oldest Bulgarian university attended the preliminary geography examination of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The geography exam began at 9:00 AM, and it marked the beginning of the candidate-student campaign of the “Alma mater”.

A candidate can apply for 12 university subjects with an examination in geography. If he combines geography with an examination in a foreign language, he can also apply for two other subjects – “Tourism” and “Regional development and politics”.
