“California Superbike School” event in Bulgaria

This Saturday and Sunday (August 29th – 30th), Bulgaria will host the event “California Superbike School” for the first time.

The track “Drakon” (Dragon) in the village Kaloyanovo (near Plovdiv city) will welcome several of the leading names in the international motor sports. The event caused a wave of interest in the motorcycling crowds, and the 50 “students” in the school reserved their places back in June.

Several world champions, including Wayne Rainey, Scott Russel, Chris Vermeulen amd James Toseland owe their success to that very same event – the California Superbike School.

The Bulgarian fans of high speed will be given the opportunity to be schooled by Andy Abbot – director of the school branch in Europe and personal trainer of several current champions. Four other English instructors from the California Superbike School team will arrive with Abbot.

On Saturday, the Bulgarian racers will get acquainted with techniques for successful taking of turns, suitable speeds for trajectories that can be decisive to the race’s outcome, survival on the road, etc.
