Emergency vacation for schools in Sofia
60 kindergartens and 60 schools, located mostly around the central part of Bulgaria’s capital, might go into an emergency vacation because of the gas crisis. This was made clear during an emergency meeting of the municipality administration yesterday.
The Ministry of education and science announced, that 127 schools already get less warmth from the heating installations.
The Ministry reminds, that should the temperature in the class rooms fall beneath 18 degrees, students might be released in emergency vacations.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Sofia Boiko Borisov ordered schools and kindergartens to measure the temperature in classrooms twice a day.
