Not one, but two stars will shine in the “Famous” Alley of fame on the eve of the International day of theatre. The legends of Bulgarian cinema and theatre – Georgi Kaloyanchev and Stoyanka Mutafova will receive their very own stars on March 26th (Thursday), at 14:00 PM in front of the “Arena Mladost” cinema. Georgi Kaloyanchev and Stoyanka Mutafova are the first Bulgarian actors to receive their own stars from the jury of the prize.

The Famous Grouse Scotch Whiskey sponsored the idea to gather in one place the names of people that made Bulgaria famous worldwide.

The initiative began back in 2005. So far, people like Dimitar Berbatov, Lili Ivanova, Vasko Vasilev, Valya Balkanska, Teodosii Spasov, Vezhdi Rashidov, the Maleevi sisters, Ivo Papazov have their own stars. The jury determines the possible candidates, which include respected Bulgarians of all walks of life who had proven their professionalism and erudition.
