One gold, one silver and two bronze medals took the Bulgarian national team on the 13^th Astronomy Olympics, which took place in Italy from 13^th to 21^st October.

The golden medalist is Momchil Molnar, a student from Ruse. The silver medal took Chavdar Dutsov from Sofia and the two bronze medals were for Diana Sofronieva and Kaloyan Genkov.

Leaders of the team were Alexei Stoev – director of the National Observatory and Planetarium – Stara Zagora, and Eva Bojurova – a lecturer in the National Observatory and Planetarium –Varna.
