The prime minister of Bulgaria Sergei Stanishev met the president of the Spanish energetics company Iberdrola Engineering and Construction Ramon de Miguel.

Iberdrola is among the leading international energetics companies and is the biggest operator of renewable energy sources. Another section of it’s activites includes the nuclear sector. The company president said that the company has interest in the development of it’s business in Bulgaria. The Spanish company plans to co-operate with the American company “Westinghouse” which modernizes the reactors in the Nuclear power plant “Kozloduy” in mutual projects. According to him, the Nuclear power plant “Kozloduy” is a modern establishment with a future and much life left in it.

The development of nuclear energetics is a very safe investment which is worth all funds given it’s way, because it has a large revenue, said Ramon de Miguel. He also noted the positive experience of his company in Bulgaria so far.
