CSKA will have a relatively easy opponent in the upcoming tournament. Today’s draw in Nion assigned the “army” team to the winner from the match between Skonto (Latvia) – Derry City (Eire) for the third preliminary round of the League Europe.

The first match is on July 30th in Sofia. The return match is on August 6th.

The first match between Skonto and Derry City in Latvia ended with a draw – 1:1.

Curiously, Skonto FC faced the eternal rival of CSKA – Levski during the season 2002/03 in the Champions League. Back then, the Bulgarian team defeated Skonto with 2:0 in Sofia and 0:0 in Latvia.
