“Serdika center” – the biggest mall on the Balkans – will open doors in the upcoming spring, writes the newspaper “Standard”.

“85% of the shops are already rented,” explained the manager of the mall Atanas Radev.

The project is worth 210 million euro and will be finished as late as January 2010. Nearly 220 shops will be spreaded around three floors sprawling over a total of 50 thousand square metres. Over 1600 parking slots will be provided for the customers of “Serdika center” on “Sitniakovo” blvd.

The renting of offices that will be open in the summer of 2010 hasn’t begun yet. The rent will be around 16-17 euro per square metre.

From “ESE Projectmanagement” commented, that the size of the rent takes into consideration both the attractive location of the center and the capabilities of the average company. The mall will give about 2000 working places.

The construction of an additional crossroad on “Sitniakovo” blvd. is planned. The new crossroad will help with the traffic generated the new mall.
