The first racket of Bulgaria Tsvetana Pironkova won over the Hungarian Katalin Maroshi with 6:3, 3:6, 6:2 result in a decisive game for the main draw of the difficult tournament “Porsche Grand Prix” in Stuttgart.

The 21 year old player from Plovdiv achieved two victories in the first two rounds of the tournament without giving a single set for her rivals Selima Sfar and Gretta Arn. So far, Pironkova had one loss from Maroshi from last year in Budapest.

After her victory today, Tsvetana Pironkova might play against the likes of Marion Bartoli, Svetlana Kuznetsova or against another competitor that got through the qualifications.
