Plovdiv was the host of the National congress for cardiology once again this year. The event took place in the “Bulgaria” hall of the International fair in Plovdiv.

The forum took place between November 20th and 23rd. Over a thousand bulgarian and foreign specialists participated, announced docent doctor Fedya Nikolov, head of the Cardiology clinic in the University hospital “St. Georgi” and vice-president of the National cardiologic’s union in Bulgaria.

This was the second time that Plovdiv hosted the biggest meeting of cardiology specialists of the 18-year-old history of the event, explained docent Nikolov. Most of the meetings took place in Sofia.

Among the delegates was be the president of the European union of cardiologists prof. Roberto Ferarri, announced the organizers of the scientific forum.
