Romanians occupy Sunny Beach for New Year’s Eve

The biggest hotel association in Sunny Beach – “Sunny Beach holdings” announced that their hotel bases are already fully booked by romanian tourists.

Surprisingly, all offers for the New Year’s Eve were bought by romanians in about a week after being released for sale, specified from the hotel. The holding explains, that usually their biggest share of tourists are German. This year, a significant increase of about 10 to 30% of tourists from Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic and Israel is evident, as well as the presence of several new tourist markets like Kazakhstan and Portugal.

The number of Bulgarian tourists also increased; they go to the resort with the lower prices, offered by tour operating firms and reservations. It is still early for a prognosis on the new tourist season, but for now, no crisis is to be expected, specified the directors of “Sunny beach holdings” Ivalina and Peiko Yankovi. According to Yankovi, the international financial crisis heightened the rivalries of the tourist markets. Countries like Greece, Turkey and Spain already storm the market with extensive advertisement campaigns, something that Bulgaria sadly lacks.
