An amusement park similar to the now closed Sofialand will be constructed in the district “Zapaden park” in Sofia. The rides and other entertainment attractions will be assembled onto an abandoned terrain of 22 decares, which will be rented for five years.

The proposal belongs to the chief architect Petar Dikov and will be voted in the parliament tomorrow. “A private investor will take care of the first stage of construction of the amusement park. The idea is to make the amusement park larger by 25 decares after the first five years”, says the proposal. The third stage includes the construction of several tennis courts.
