The reports SRIOKOZ for 2008 state that the tap water in Sofia is of excellent quality and fulfills the requirements of Regulation 9 of the Ministry of the environment and waters.

This was announced by the responsible company “Sofia waters”.

During the last year, the Sofia inspectorate investigated 1291 probes from 26 stations in different districts of the capital.

During the inspections, no disorders that needed the involvement of the Ministry of healthcare or the National center for social healthcare were found.
