The Devetashka cave to be turned into an attractive tourism area

The municipality of Lovech is working on the conceptual part of their proposal for the operative program “Regional development” to turn “Devetashkata peshtera” (the Devetashka cave) into an attractive tourism area, announced the mayor Mincho Kazandjiev.

According to him this is part of the general policy of the municipality to develop the region as a tourism destination. Moreover, the cave is included in the general development plan for 2007 – 2013.

The visitors will be offered archery practice, horseback riding, delving into cave galleries, viewing of wax figures that present moments of ancient lifestyle, etc.
