The family of the ex-minister of finance Milen Velchev will build a massive hotel complex in Sofia. The hotel is of the “Intercontinental” chain and will take the spot of the famous in the past restaurant “Ropotamo”.

“I have a connection with the project as far as I have shares in firms that have shares of the investors of the project, “International capital group”, said Georgi Velchev, brother of the ex-minister of finance Milen Velchev for BGNES.

He clarified, however, that the project isn’t exaclty for a hotel like the secretary of the Sofia municipality Rosen Zhelyazkov announced. According to Georgi Velchev, details will be revealed in the near future.
