The Roman street in Sofia will be restored

The ancient Roman street beneath the Largo in Sofia will be restored and opened to the public.

The municipality of Sofia is negotiating finances with the European investment bank. At least 10 to 12 million leva will be needed, said the chief architect of Sofia Petar Dikov.

The ruins are located above the Sofia subway.

The future museum will be connected to the subways near the Presidency and the Central Universal Store. It will also have an exit connected with the metro station Serdika.
