The second block of the Thermal Power Plant “Bobov dol” is active again, announced the chairman of the board of directors of the plant Atanas Vakavchiev.

At 15:03 o’clock the machine entered the energy system of the country. Right now, the system is in a process of loading, and is expected to be fully functional by 20:00 o’clock and reach it’s upper load – 190 megawatts, clarified Vakavchiev.

In 24 hours, 4 million kilowatt hours of electroenergy will be produced. The activation of the system is a necessary test, because of the heightened use of electricity in Bulgaria.
