The University of Ruse applied to the European Commission (the General department for education and culture) for an accreditation to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), announced the municipality website ruseinfo.net. The accreditation to this system will include the university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), approving it’s ECTS/DS – Label.

The special DS addition to the diplom in one of the official European languages will attest that the degree in higher education is up to the EU standards and the approved EHEA practice.
