United struggled to defeat City in the Manchester derby
Manchester United had a hard time defeating Manchester City with 1:0 in a Premiership game. Wayne Roonie scored his hundreth Premiership goal in the 42nd minute.
This was the only goal in the game, despite the several chances the Red Devils had for a second goal.
The captain of the Bulgarian national team Dimitar Berbatov began the game on the field, and was switched for the first time ever in the Alex Ferguson team. He left the game in the 84th minute, giving his place to Ryan Giggs.
Christiano Ronaldo left his team with a person less in the second half, after being shown a second yellow card.
