With the coming of the new year, the foundation “Dimitar Berbatov” finished taking entries for nominees of students (aged 6-19), that had significant successes in the fields of science, arts or sport in 2008.

Over 200 worthy nominations were sent. The organizers advise all future participants in the nominations to carefully read the requirements in the respective section of the website of the footballer, www.dberbatov.org. The website includes all details regarding the project.

So far, the most nominees are in the “Sports” field, followed by “Arts” and “Science”. The nine choices of the jury will be announced in early 2009, after they look over all valid nominations.
