A ferry boat line between Krasnodar and Varna opened yesterday
A ferry boat and railway line between Varna and Krasnodar was officially opened yesterday.
The ferry boat “Avantgarde” sailed from the port of the Southern Russian seaside city “Caucaus”, loaded with 40 cisterns of industrial oil. On March 3rd, the vessel will begin sailing back from the “Varna” port.
The opening of the ferry boat-railway line “is a very symbolical event, especially considering that 2009 is the year of Bulgaria in Russia”, noted the directory of the Russian Federal agency for naval transport Alexander Davidenko at the official opening ceremony.
He reminded that this event is due to the agreements between the Russian and Bulgarian ministries of transport, signed in January of last year.
