The executive directors of the World bank approved two projects with a total funding of 142 million euro, that are meant to fortify Bulgaria’s integration in the European Union and the raising of the standards of life in the country.

The support for Bulgaria is a part of the Strategy for partnership, approved by the executives of the World bank in June 2006. The bulgarian economic shows a steady growth for the last eight years. The continuous increase of productivity and employment is vital for the goals of achieving a steady growth, the lowering of the income differences and making the convergence of EU countries easier.

The international experience shows, that programmes for education in the early stages of childhood are the most effective measure for the increase of social integration.
