Submitted on Friday, 8 May 2009No Comment

The main interest percentage defined by the Bulgarian national bank dropped suddenly on May 1st to 2,27%. In April it was 3,53%/

The decrease is with 1.26%.

That way, the main interest percentage goes to it’s lowest point since February 2006, when the interest was 2,25%.

Since the beginning of this year, the Central bank made several reductions of the Main interest percentage, with the exception of slight increase in April. So far, the main interest has been practically halved.
