Bulgaria attracted nearly $8.5 M investments in 2007
The 2008 World Investment Report of the UNCTAD was presented today in Sofia. It says that in 2007 Bulgaria has attracted nearly eight and a half billion dollars of foreign direct investments. This means that the country’s foreign direct investments have grown with more than 900 million dollars for just one year.
Among the 12 new members of the EU only three countries have managed to attract more investments in 2007: Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic.
