Bulgarian female wrestler Stanka Zlateva has become a world champion for the third time at the freestyle wrestling championship in Tokyo.

At the finals Zlateva defeated Chinese Jan Hun with 2:0 parts to become a triple champion in her category of 72 kg.

At the semi-final Zlateva won against Russian Aliona Starodutseva. The silver medallist from the Olympics defeated with 2:0 the Canadian Ohenewa Akuffo at the quarterfinals.
