The municipality of Burgas was awarded by the National agency for youth and sport, after an inquiry for the upcoming Day of Bulgarian sport and professional day of the sportsmen – May 17th.

The municipality was awarded for it’s achievements in the development and popularizing of sports and the finished projects for construction of sport facilities with the funds from the municipality budget.

The inquiry took place among the Bulgarian sports federations. They were asked about the efforts of Bulgarian municipalities for the development of sport in the country.
