Everton FC and Manchester United were evenly matched, ending the game at 1:1 on Everton FC’s home ground “Goodison Park” in Liverpool.

The guests from Manchester dominated the whole first half and deservingly scored first – Darren Fletcher opened in the 22nd minute. After the break however, Everton took the initiative and evened the score in the 63rd minute, the goal being the work of the belgian Marouane Fellaini.

Dimitar Berbatov played all 90 minutes of the game, but did not score a goal. Instead, he gave excellent passes all around and was among the most guarded Manchester players on the field, alongside Rooney.
