Higher salaries in the private sector next year

57% of the employers plan to increase the salaries of their employees next year despite the worldwide financial crisis, show the results of the research of the Bulgarian economics chamber presented by their chairman Bozhidar Danev.

Every second employer suffers from a lack of workers, and over 30 percent of the business plans to invest in better qualification for their personnel, clarifies Darik radio.

Between 10 and 20% increase of salaries awaits the qualified employees. The research of the Bulgarian economics chamber shows that next year, 57 percent of employers will increase the salaries of their best cadres, and 36% of them will invest in the further education of their employees. A return of unqualified workers from foreign lands is expected between March and May next year. Some of the firms also plan to fire their unqualified personnel.
