The Bulgarian champion Levski defeated the Macedonian Metalurg (Skopje) with 2:0 in a match on the Bulgarian stadium “Gerena”. Ratko Dostanic couldn’t use 12 of his footballers because of their duties with the national team or because of injuries.

The game began with a minute of silence for the tragedy in Lake Ohrid this morning – a full tourist ship sank, killing at least 15 people, many of which – Bulgarians.

Half an hour later, the team from Sofia opened the result. Yovov assisted Georgi Hristov for a masterful strike and a 1:0 result for Levski. In the 39th minute, Iusef Rabeh was injured and Elin Topuzakov replaced him.

Two minutes later, Ze Soares took advantage of the weak performance of the Macedonian goalkeeper Manchevski and increased Levski’s advantage to the final 2:0.
