Soon Mezdra will become one of the cities with unique sports base. The complex near ‘Lokomotiv – Mezdra’ stadium will soon be finished, a VIP stand is being constructed at the moment and in the end the stadium will have 15 000 seats.

The tourist complex ‘Kaleto’ will be developed near the stadium. The construction of the main gate of the fortress has been started, and an entirely new museum complex is expected to be built. A big information centre and an amphitheatre will be constructed and the bridge will be repaired.

Soon the excavations by the fortress ‘Kaleto’ discovered precious finds from the time of Alexander Sever – medallions and coins. A prehistoric sanctuary that only can be found in Anatolia has also been discovered.
