Laura Chukanova, the winner of the Miss Utah competition and runner-up in the Miss USA competition, will visit her homeland – Bulgaria to personally thank everyone that supported her during the Miss USA 2009 competition.

The past week was very eventful and emotional for Laura. On Monday, she did a photoshoot in Houston (Texas) in the professional studio “Select Studios”.

On the invitation of Donald Trump, she visited New York and met him, the president of the Miss Universe organization Paula Shugart and the famous model Lou Sierra. The Bulgarian girl met many celebrities and representatives of the Miss Universe organization.

She also graduated the University of Utah, and is now an International Relations major with additional courses in history of art, leadership and Spanish.
