The mayor of the municipality of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov officially opened the new playground for children in the city today. The playground in on “Odrin” street in the district “Bratia Miladinovi”. Numerous children and their parents from the district were present at the event, announced from the press centre of the Burgas municipality.

This is the first entirely new playground, and the third opened this year after the renovations of two old playgrounds earlier this year. The project is the work of the Burgas municipality, and is worth 60 000 leva. It was sponsored by the company “Wolf”.

The attractive new playground has many features to appeal to children, including climbing constructions, winding slides and swings. Benches circle the entire place.

All constructions are built over a special rubber surface, in accordance with the latest EU requirements for safety of children. The space around the playground is also renovated, and now sports green fields and new paths.
