The Sheikh of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani announced the doubling of Qatar’s production of liquid gas during his speech at the opening of the meeting “Natural gas for Europe. Security and partnership” in Sofia.

Qatar is the country that produces the most liquid gas in the world, and now it’s production will double. It’s product capacity will reach 77 million tons of gas per year. According to the Sheikh of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, his country intends to supply liquid gas and that includes the construction of a tanker navy force – 54 ships that will supply the US, Italy and the United Kingdom with gas.

Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani said that it’s important for Qatar to keep up the dialogue between them and the consumer countries. The flow of energy resources that support the economics is also of great importance. The natural gas is one of the most important resources, due to it’s operative advantages, said the Sheikh.
