The government press center informed that the prime minister Sergey Stanishev will travel to Brussels tomorrow to participate in the conference of the European council.

The focus of discussion of the leaders of EU member countries will be the financial and economical crisis, the energetics safety and climate issues. The prime minister Sergey Stanishev will give a report on the results from the two working sessions of the European council on a press conference on March 20th, Friday.

The program of the prime minister for March 18th includes a meeting with the chairman of the Party of European socialists (PES) Paul Ramusen and a discussion with the Group of socialists in the European parliament. He will make a presentation of his book “Because we are socialists”, and will later join the conference “Peace in the world”.
