“Both experts and politicians are taking note of the efforts of the Bulgarian government for the stopping of misuse of European funds”, said the prime minister of Bulgaria Sergey Stanishev in an interview for the European TV chanel Euronews.

According to the prime minister, these efforts include the changes in the laws, the creation of transparent mechanisms, the betterment of the administration work and mainly – in the management of European funds.

“We are doing our best at re-structuring reforms, personnel changes and the creation of new laws that will make us as transparent as possible to the EU. We would like to guarantee the effective use of European funds”, concluded the prime minister during his interview with Euronews.
