On May 22nd, at 19:11 PM, the fifth block of the atomic power plant “Kozloduy” became once again part of the energetics system of Bulgaria, after the successful conclusion of the planned annual repairs.

The agency for nuclear management went through the required procedures and gave their permission for the functionality of the nuclear block.

The fifth block was stopped on April 11th 2009. During the time off, all planned activities of the long-term management plan of “Kozloduy” were completed according to plan.
