That was announced by the regional manager of Pleven Tsvetko Tsvetkov. He pointed that The Danube port near Somovite has been included in the programs for concessioning and the concessor will probably be chosen to the end of the year. Tsvetkov said that he hopes that the concessioner will be a firm from Pleven.

The importance of another port –Nikopol is going to increase after the opening of a ferryboat complex.

Tsvetkov added that the tour operators in Pleven are working actively to attract more tourists and the multitude of attractive places of public resort and hotels are a premise west tour operators to choose Pleven as a destination.
