The German newspaper Handelsblatt published a paid supplement dedicated to Bulgaria. Twelve coloured pages feature lengthy interviews and articles of prominent Bulgarian politicians and experts that speak on up to date problems.

The supplement’s headline is “Bulgaria – chances for development through stable politics”. The Bulgarian and EU flags are on display on the first page of the supplement. Under the flags – next to photos of the hotel “Sheraton”, the cathedral “Alexander Nevski” and the parliament – stands the slogan “Success in fighting corruption.”

Corruption and the struggle against is among the main topics for most of the politicians featured in the supplement. The prime minister gives a start to the topic with a lengthy interview, titled “Bulgaria is well prepared for an international financial crisis – the fight with organized crime advances”.
