The mayor of Pernik Rositsa Yanakieva and Chon Park, representative of the South Korean consortium Choice, signed a key contract for the construction of the new Industrial park in Pernik.

“The future industrial zone will be the centre for the development of Pernik later on”, stated the mayor Yanakieva.

The main goal of the industrial zone is to attract investments, to lower the unemployment and keep the young specialists in the city.

The industrial zone will sprawl over a territory of 300 decares. The initial investment in the park will be 20 million dollars, which includes the foreign investments.

Pernik is a preferred city for the Korean business because of it’s suitable location and infrastructure.
