The municipality of Ruse and the Czech city Berun are partners in a project for prevention of floods, was announced by the municipal administration.

Berun is also located in a flood zone.

It is planned groups of specialists from the two cities to exchange experience and knowledge in the sphere of preventing floods, to be made-up a strategy for early warning of population and a specific methodology for education of citizens in crisis situation.

The value of the project is 300 000 levs. The money will be granted by the European fund for regional development and the state budget.
