BNB profits 205 million leva from re-evaluation of gold
The Bulgarian national bank profited 205 546 000 leva from a re-evaluation of the gold and other precious metals in 2007. Their new market value is based on the fixed price in euro of the London market of precious metals. The profits from the re-evaluation of the securities is 27 729 000 leva.
This was stated in the report of the Accounting palace for the exceeding of profits over expenses of the BNB.
