The reduction of prices is the right course for the companies, but is not done to the degree that the European officials suggested. This was the statement of the Bulgarian telecommunication company (BTC).

Because of this, BTC approached the Commission for protection of consumers, the Bulgarian Member of the European Commission ms. Meglena Kuneva, ms. Viviane Reding, Member of the European Commission, responsible for Information Society and Media and the Bulgarian ombudsman Ginio Ganev.

The telecommunication company states that the reduction of prices is not sufficient to meet the interests of Bulgarian customers.
