Bulgaria to compete on the World Cook Olympics

For the first time Bulgaria will participate on the World Olympics for cooks, which takes place in Erfurt, Germany. The Bulgarian national team, lead by the chairman of the Bulgarian association of the professional cooks Andre Tokev, won two bronze medals in the ‘Design and taste of deserts and dishes’ category on October 19.

On October 21 the Bulgarians will be competing in making a 3-course meal for 100 people.

The World Cook Olympics is conducted every four years and has a 108-year history. This year 53 countries from around the world will participate.

The Bulgarian association of professional cooks was created in 2005 and has officially been accepted for a member of the World cook association on May 15 this year in Dubai.
