The Bulgarian national youth team (up to 19 years) ended the friendly game with the German youth team with a draw. The match took place at the stadium in the city Gera, in front of 1200 people.

According to specialists, the Bulgarian youth team lead by the trainer Atanas Marinov offered a pleasant surprise with their performance, which resulted in a very balanced game. Germany is the host of the finals of the European championship for youths in May 2009.

The youth team has one victory so far – against Cyprus, and three draws – against Cyprus, Poland and Germany.
