The office of the European commission in Bulgaria organized several events to mark the Day of Europe today.

A bicycle marathon was organized in front of the National theatre “Ivan Vazov” this morning. The event was co-organized with the citizen association “Parents”. Several other sports events took part this morning.

A youth conference under the slogan “My voice for a new Europe” took part in the “Musala” hall in the hotel “Hilton” in Sofia. It was organized by the association “Youth media network” under the patronage of Meglena Kuneva and Christian Vigenin.

The Day of Europe was also celebrated with a concert on the square “St. Alexander Nevski” at 18:30 PM. It was organized by the European Commission representative office in Bulgaria with the assistance of the municipality administration of Sofia.
