The Sofia University celebrates 120 years with a masquerade

St. Clement of Ohrid University of Sofia will celebrate it’s 120th birthday with a masquerade ball in the Rectorate.

On November 24th, a procession from the Rectorate to the National theatre will mark the birthday as well. This was announced today by the rector of the university himself – prof. Ivan Ilchev.

Among the events to mark the birthday is a scientific conference on November 23rd, announced Nova TV.

On November 24th, the grand award for scientific achievements – 10 000 leva – will be given in the ceremonial hall of the university. The mayor of Sofia, Boiko Borisov, will also give an award for scientific achievements on behalf of the Municipality administration.
