The Sofia municipality plans on raising several taxes in 2009. The payment for an officials to perform the wedding formalities outside the usual civil building in 2009 will cost 270 leva, the ritual for a golden or a silver wedding becomes 56 leva, the naming of a child raises from 55 leva to 62 leva.

The taxes for the use of sidewalks, squares, streets and open terrains for business rises as well, with nearly 20%.

The price for issuing a certificate for heirs, for identity of names, for social status, for family relations, for address registrations and legalization of documents for foreign citizenship will raise from 0,5 to 1 lev in 2009.
