The Bulgarian president Georgi Parvanov said during his press conference with his Vietnamese colleague Nguen Min Chiet, that Bulgaria could be a factor to the development of new European politics towards Vietnam.

“Bulgaria can be and will be an active factor in the preparation of the agreement for co-operation and partnership between the EU and Vietnam, as well as the solving of other issues”, added the Bulgarian president.

Georgi Parvanov met the Vietnamese president Nguen Min Chiet today, and they both gave a press conference after their official talks. After that, Parvanov spoke with the chairman of the parliament Nguen Fou Chong and the general secretary of the Vietnamese communist part Nong Duk Man.

In the presence of both presidents were signed Treaties for jurisdical co-operation of the court ministries of Bulgaria and Vietnam, and also a Co-operation program in the fields of culture, sport and tourism between both countries.
